Red Light Therapy

LED phototherapy

At Glow Haus, LED phototherapy is used as a restorative, evidence-led skin treatment designed to support cellular function, reduce inflammation, and enhance the skin’s natural repair processes. LED phototherapy works by delivering specific wavelengths of light into the skin at a cellular level. These wavelengths are absorbed by the mitochondria within skin cells, stimulating energy production (ATP) and activating biological responses such as collagen synthesis, tissue repair, improved circulation, and inflammation regulation - all without generating heat or damaging the skin.

Different light wavelengths target different skin concerns. Red and near-infrared light are commonly used to support collagen production, accelerate healing, and improve overall skin quality. Blue light targets acne-causing bacteria and helps regulate breakouts. Other wavelengths can assist in calming redness, improving tone, and supporting lymphatic flow.

At Glow Haus, LED phototherapy is rarely used as a standalone treatment. Instead, it is integrated strategically into facial and corrective programmes to enhance treatment outcomes, support post-procedure recovery, and strengthen long-term skin function.

Every LED treatment at Glow Haus is selected based on your individual skin condition, sensitivity levels, and treatment goals. Whether used to calm reactive skin, accelerate skin rejuvenation, support breakout-prone skin, or enhance post-laser recovery, LED is a powerful, non-invasive tool in optimising skin health. Our focus is not only visible improvement, but improved cellular performance, creating skin that functions more efficiently, heals more effectively, and maintains vitality over time.
